Sitcom Character - Dr. Maggie Brooks
Maggie is an ivy-league educated woman. She has a tremendous vocabulary, which is completely wasted on the rangers. They never understand what she is talking about, but they pretend they do because they want to impress her. Her only reason for staying with people like this “in the middle of nowhere” is to help the animals that she adores so much.
She arrives on the mountain seeking a position as a veterinarian. Lieutenant Anderson couldn’t get a physician to stay on the mountain so he decided that an animal doctor would be close enough. Maggie soon finds this out and wants to leave immediately. She is compelled to stay in order to care for an injured animal.
Maggie is capable of handling and solving the various crises that the rangers get themselves into. She is kind and wants to help them even though they annoy her frequently. She sees the rangers like “schoolchildren” with their constant need to gain her attention and get into mischief with their antics.
